Jenny Newland Art

Jenny Newland is an artist who hails from Tucson, Arizona. She studied at Glendale Community College, Northern Arizona University, and with Chris Delorica, a renowned graphic designer. Aside from painting, she also takes time to teach art classes for elementary children and is also a member of the Sunshine Singers group, who sing in convalescent homes for senior citizens in the surrounding area. She says that God has blessed her with this talent and she hopes others are blessed by it. Jenny is best known for her realistic portraits of animals that according to many are brought to life with sweet expressions and colorful detail. The secret to conveying such realism, she explains, lies in expressing the personality and mood of each subject through its eyes. Jenny donates her artwork to various churches and community schools. She also donates her art to nationally funded organizations such as Mogollon Sporting Association, the National Humane Society, the Rocky Mountain Elks Foundation, Ducks Unlimited, SPCA, and Defenders of Wildlife. She is a warmhearted artist that uses her talents to help others. The personalities of her subjects are captured with her skilled hand. This ability is influenced by the animals with which she shares her home: fifteen cats, four dogs, and even some farm animals. She has received numerous awards for her artwork and has also licensed for t-shirts, designer fabrics, banners, greeting cards, prints, puzzles, mugs, gift tins, and many other items that feature her animals.
