The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) brings the latest videos, images and news from America’s space agency, pioneering scientific discoveries, space exploration and more. NASA is an independent agency of the executive branch of the U.S. federal government. The European Space Agency (ESA) features the latest news in human spaceflight, space exploration, telecommunications, launchers, monitoring, navigation, and more. The Space Telescope Science Institute (STScl) on the other hand, enables distinction in astronomical research by optimizing the science from high-tech observational instruments. The three bodies NASA, ESA and STScl, have worked in collaboration for many years. They are known for the Hubble Space Telescope, which came as a collaboration of the three. The Hubble Space Telescope is a long-term space-based observatory project in which the scientists carry out the observations in visible, ultraviolet and infrared light. Through this joint project, the Hubble Space Telescope has made some of the most spectacular discoveries in the astronomy’s history. Hovering at about 600 km above the Earth, the telescope is able to detect light with clarity 5 times sharper than the best telescopes based on the ground, and looks deep into space where some of the most weighty mysteries are still hidden in the mists of time. This means it’s able to produce very clear images of the heavenly bodies. The project has revolutionized modern astronomy in many ways and it is an efficient tool for making new discoveries, and is also driving astronomical research in general. Framed NASA, ESA, STScl art hang on the walls of many institutions around the world.
