As the daughter and granddaughter of Boston interior decorators decorating in the 60's and 70's, Nancy Green grew up thinking that a matching set of luggage was a pair of rope handled Schumacher sample bags. And so, with that familial affinity, she followed her love of the decorative arts to become a textile and home product designer. Whether drawing inspiration from vintage textiles or pottery, her treks in the Himalaya, or from her backyard, Nancy's designs are sometimes whimsical, sometimes exotic, and always original. Nancy earned her stripes (and polka dots too) creating best selling collections for retailers the world over. Nancy currently lives and works in Hoboken, New Jersey.
