He always wanted to enhance his artistic skills and so he proceeded to Millikin University where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design in 2006. He’s currently a resident of Vermont where he works full time as a freelance illustrator.
Most of his artwork pieces have a rich reflection of American history, particularly the 1940s-1960s. Mullan travels widely, getting inspired by new ideas, creating networks, and sharpening his skills. He's been to the U.S., Mexico, U.K., Canada, Honduras, and Ireland. Mullan started an art shop, GROOVYGRAVY, through which he sells his art, particularly the limited editions, and gallery quality prints.
