Louise Montillio was born and raised in Saudi Arabia but moved to the United States of America. She loved art from her childhood and appreciated the rich textures and patterns of different cultures that she interacted with. Her pieces of art are displayed at some of the leading galleries and museums in the world. They are also found in institutions, offices and homes, especially in the form of framed Louise Montillio art. She likes all that she does because they give her a sense of fulfillment. Louise pursued her college education at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Arizona State University. She began her career as an illustrator for calendars and books, eventually moving on to larger-scale art. He says that if he has to choose a career again, he will not have to think twice about choosing art. Louise now paints exclusively in oil and her highly detailed murals are commissioned by designers, hotels, and private collectors and Boston area and throughout the United States. She has completed several images, many of which are available online and some in brick and mortar stores. Her love of architecture and history was awakened when she bought and started the process of restoring the neglected Colonial home that was built in 1818. Louise says that just like most things, if someone wants strongly enough to learn something, they will. She adds that the talent comes from loving the adventure. Louise lives and paints in Massachusetts (Hingham), where she lives with her family, all of whom are involved actively in local humane societies.
