Andi Metz’s illustrations are usually influenced by the world around her. She lives at a place where she’s surrounded by the beauty of nature and many of her ideas are sparked from her time growing up on the shore. She hopes that her paintings would make the viewers feel like they are taking a leisurely stroll on the beach and that they enjoy the inspirations from her Easel. Andi has been drawing and painting since the age of three when she wrote and illustrated her very first book in crayons. She now enjoys panting in pen and ink with gouache and also watercolor. The artist uses her creativity in all spheres of her life and her work can be found on the props and set at the local youth theatre. Currently, she uses acrylics, gouache and watercolor as her mediums of choice on her palette. Her interest in gardening and sewing in combination with her passion for vintage art, help her create timeless images with a contemporary quality. She has attended numerous art shows and exhibitions where her art has received positive reviews from art critics.
