Michele Meissner Art

Michele Meissner was born and raised on the outskirts of Buffalo, New York. The art bug bit her at a very young age. back in the 1970’s, at that young age, she entered a painting in the Stick-Up for Breakfast Contest organized by Kellogg and she was surprised that she was one of the first place finalists and she won a brand new bike. Painting has become an integral part of her life and she’s happy with the feedback that she gets from critics and viewers who have said that when they look at her images they get a sense of peace. Her talent was noticed while she was still very young. She was always interested in art and was always encouraged and supported by her family and friends. Her art has been included in many public fittings and corporate collections throughout the United States. The painting process is cathartic and expressive for her. Michele is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. This is where she met her Marc who would later become her husband - Marc is also an artist. The framed Michele Meissner art currently adorn the walls of many prestigious buildings across the globe. She continuously swings between the equilibrium and breaking point. A drawn line, a splash of color and a pattern, all come together into a captivating visual language. After her graduation, she worked at Fisher-Price Toys as a Graphic Artist. Over the years she has worked as the director of a toy museum.
