Teri Martin (Born 1978) loves letters. How people communicate and writing has always fascinated her. She was born in Melrose, Massachusetts, United States of America. Teri uses her own words, as well as taking sayings and words from famous people, and then makes them her own. Her pieces of art have been used in many commercial artworks such as greeting cards, calendars, and posters. She also produces cardstocks for scrap booking. It’s interesting to note that she loves calligraphy and is thrilled about all the new forms of calligraphy, not just ink and pen, but also sculpture, clay, and even metal. Teri is an artist, survivor, and dreamer. She now lives in Salem, Massachusetts, USA and joined Cowbird in 2012. Her instinctive approach to painting touches the basic dreams and hopes of her viewers. She was recently published and recognized as one of “The Best” by her International Calligraphic Colleagues. Her use of calligraphy is outstanding, as well as her use of color. This artist is very inspiring as she has made typography colorful and fun - A great business woman and artist. She’s an internationally recognized calligrapher, painter, teacher and designer. She’s also a color enthusiast who’s able to harmoniously combine the glory of color and calligraphy with her power of positive thoughts. Teri has a couple of licensing arrangements with the New York Graphic Society, a rubber stamp company, and a scrap booking company, and is even working on reproducing her paintings.
