Bryan Martin Art

Brian Martin is a seasoned illustrator and a muralist. He is also a graphic/web designer and a decorative artist. He has several years of experience in art and influenced by anything from real life to the movies and TV. He studied at Rhode Island School of Design where he obtained his BFA and later at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he obtained his MFA in Painting/Drawing. He now produces an array of delightful high quality paintings and many fine drawings. Martin always looks at different methods of creating and presenting images so that the final products are not only unique and attractive but also inspiring. After graduation he taught color/2D-design, painting and drawing at I.U.P. He is currently teaching painting, illustration and drawing at Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA. His passion for painting has made him to believe that every image has the potential to tell a story, and that every image has a message that it delivers to the viewer. Martin’s world is light and full of happy surprises and he has always been mesmerized by color. Martin was a resident artist at the Johnstown Bottleworks in Johnstown, PA in 2008. Here, he co-curated an exhibition of work by national and international painters called the "Calm Americans." He has exhibited his art nationally from Texas to New England and internationally in Australia. Martin is represented by Principle gallery in Alexandria, VA. Framed Brian Martin art can be found in many art galleries, museums, institutions, and homes throughout the world. They are much sought after by many collectors.
