Lucia Marque Art

Lucia Marque was born and raised in Poitier, France. She’s a self taught and multi-media artist who works in acrylic, oil, pastel, watercolor, colored pencil and charcoal. She currently resides in Tucson, Arizona where her work has been inspired by the Pre-Raphaelites by the works of Monet. She focuses on the needs of her clients while developing her talent as an artist. Her art is recognized by diversity, spontaneity in brushwork, and candid use of color. Lucia has clients who are very loyal and seem to relate and connect well to her work. Lucia is primarily a realist artist, but once in awhile she ventures to the more symbolic or abstract styles of contemporary art. The artist describes herself as a painter who’s able to see beyond what most people see in nature. She enjoys being challenged by modern European and American design influences in creating unique and new art. Being self-taught, she doesn't use a formula and never over-thinks what she’s working on. Viewers can see the diverse goals she’s striving for in the wide range of finished styles she creates. Her style brings excitement and energy to the canvas in a very artistic and creative way that’s all her own. Many collectors and art stores stock framed Lucia Marque art in large numbers because of their high demand. Lucia is no stranger to accolades. She has gained much praise for her photo-like renderings of flowers and abstract art. In just a short period of time after becoming a full time artist, she discovered her niche and garnered many accolades in the realm of multi-media art.
