Kathrine Lovell Art

Born in Sydney Australia Kathrine Lovell, had a sense pretty early that she was good at art. She could tell that she thought of it differently from what her fellow kids thought. Brought up in New Jersey, Kathrine thinks she’s always just wanted to be and known she’s an artist. She says that the biggest part to being an artist is seeing, and she’s been looking and seeing all her life. Her father told her that as soon as she was born, her eyes were wide open and were looking around. Finally she feels as if she’s hitting her stride and being the artist she hoped she would be. She feels this is also a culmination of her family’s artistic experiences in centuries. She went to Rhode Island to attend RISD where she received a BFA in painting. She now works and lives in Tiverton Rhode Island. Kathrine’s art was influenced by her mother who was also an artist - a painter and great watercolorist. So Kathrine doesn’t know when she started doing art. She was hit by art before she knew it was something. She always loved to draw and was entertained by drawing. Today, framed Kathrine Lovell art are ranked among some of the best pieces of at in the world. As an artist she’s had to explore various paths of creativity that has lead to making a living. She’s had her decorative painting business for more than 25 years, she teaches, takes commissions, and works on paintings specifically for reproduction.
