Sandy Lloyd is an artist based in France. She’s obsessed with jewelry design, graphic accessories and home accessories. Her favorite materials include shiny trinkets, teapots, teacups, reclaimed wood, and vintage ephemera. She often feels as though she’s living in the wrong century, and as a result, she ends up creating pieces that, to her feels like "home." Apart from her adventures with digital collage, she’s contented breathing new life into second-hand objects. From childhood on, Sandy has been fascinated by historic costumes and personalities, and spellbound by the quixotic glamour of timeless Paris. Sandy was born in the San Francisco Bay Area where she was also raised, but later she moved to Port Orchard, Washington and she made here her home for nearly a decade. Sandy fell in love with the magical scenery and the wide open spaces of the Pacific Northwest and these have been the inspiration for much of her recent work. Aside from that, she also has an extensive portfolio that features pieces with European and recurrent themed images. These images are inspired by past eras such as the 1920's, the eighteenth century France, and Belle Epoque Paris. Sandy likes to think her work takes the viewer on a tumultuous journey to an enchanting place and leaving the viewer looking for more. Lloyd is an extraordinary photographer and artist who creates evocative, marvelous mixed-media art that are as beautiful as they are captivating. The framed Sandy Lloyd art are irresistible; they have found their way into some of the most prestigious buildings in the world.
