Donato Larotonda Art

Donato Larotonda lives and works in a small town in Basilicata where he undertakes his artistic career under the direction of the gallery ArteProgetto. In 2009 the Province of Potenza devotes a solo exhibition by Larotonda at the Provincial Museum of the capital Lucan. This ended with the publication of a catalog entitled "Reflections" with texts by Carmelita Brunetti. Some of his works are displayed on various media and marketed in the United States of America, Europe, and Asia since 2009. In 2012, Larotonda participated in "Artistic Works", a competition organized by the Chamber of Commerce of power in the Professionals. He won the second prize. A year later, he received the award of the press to the 11th edition of the "Paint Art Fair", a competition organized by Fairs Romagna. In 2014 Larotonda participated and won the first prize with the work titled "Dedicated to the dreamers" in the XII National Competition "COINE for art" of Forlì. The activity was chaired by Vittorio Sgarbi, an art critic and historian. In the same year in June, he was awarded the trophy “Golden Sail for art “in Cesenatico. He participated in many group and solo exhibitions in the whole country. Larotonda periodically runs private courses in painting. Framed Donato Larotonda art are in public and private collections in Italy and abroad. Larotonda, together with Philippe Daverio, participated in the "caravan" artistic "13 by 17" with exhibitions that made stops in major Italian cities. This activity ended in 2007 with the publication of a catalog entitled "1000 artists survey eccentric art in Italy “13 by 17 ", published by Rizzoli.
