Carla Kurt Art

Carla Kurt’s art is in corporate and private collections throughout the United States as well as internationally, most recently she has sold to buyers in Ireland, the United Kingdom, Japan, Scotland, Sweden, Spain, Canada,, Norway, Malta, the Netherlands, Italy and New Zealand. Carla began developing her artistic career in high school. She went ahead to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Graphics and a Bachelor of Art Degree in Art , and gained recognition through a college internship in which she created computer graphics for a project she exhibited in 1985 at the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago. Some of her accomplishments include: she was commissioned to do a flamingo drawing by the Cumberland Pencil Company in the United Kingdom in 2012. The drawing is now shown on their colored pencil set packages are sold worldwide. A year later, four of her wildlife drawings were featured on the “Low Winter Sun,” a set of AMC TV’s newest show that premiered in August 2013. Today, she’s is an who is known internationally, having sold her artwork all over the world in a variety of finishing options, including ready to hang famed Carla Kurt art. She currently resides on her family farm in Eastern Iowa where’s surrounded by cattle and cornfields. Carla’s respect and love for nature is reflected in her deeply realistic works of art.
