Artist Jonas Jödicke (Born 1994) is the founder of JoJoesArt. He was born and raised in Berlin Germany. Jödicke never visited any art related class or school. He learned everything by himself. He looked at many speedpaint videos and tutorials (on YouTube/Google and dA) and he just practiced a lot. His favorite artists also inspired him a lot and made him want to improve. He believes that the most important thing to improve is that an individual has to have a passion for art because art is not only about composition rules and proportions, all these things, when and individual practices a lot and wants to improve, they will improve. According to him the human brain is a miracle and it gets trained in different kinds of things. So he’s encouraging upcoming artists to just draw, have fun and look at other artists they like and they will get a feeling for proportions, composition, colors and all that. The artist says he can't really tell which medium he prefers most because nearly all mediums have both advantages and disadvantages. But he seems to produce more digital art lately. The tools he works with include a Hanvon "Artmaster" tablet and Photoshop CS4, for digital art, as well as markers, fineliners, graphite pen, and watercolors for traditional art. Jödicke was and is still also inspired by many excellent movies (Harry Potter, Princess Mononoke, Avatar, Lord of the Rings, etc.) and Television shows (Digimon, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh, etc.) as well as books (Harry Potter, LotR, Hunger Games, etc.). His dedication to his work can clearly be seen in the framed JoJoesArt art which are produced using high quality materials.
