Bragi Ingibergsson (Born 1961) was born in Iceland. He has loved photography since his childhood and got his first camera when he was only 12 years old. He was convinced that he would be an artist and knew that his career was to be in photography. Today, he’s an amateur photographer who’s known all over Iceland and beyond. His lenses of choice are EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II U, EF 24-70mm f/2.8L and EF 16-35mm f/2.8/L USM, and his preferred cameras are Canon EOS 5D Mark II and Canon EOS 5D Mark III. His photos have been published far and wide in many publications including Digital Camera, issue 83, Rough Guides, Icelandic amateur photographer's year book, PhotoPlus, issue 48, O mundo da Fotografia Digital, Trierenberg Super Circuit, The Royal Photographic Society Journal, Nordisk kirkemusik symposium, and Special Themes Circuit, among others. Photography has been his favorite hobby for as long as he can remember, and he travels a lot to find the best images to capture and this fits well with his passion for landscape and nature photography. Ingibergsson says that a photo is like a visual poem. According to him, a good photo has the ability to awaken the sense of beauty and also ignite inner feelings of strong emotions. This is because it makes the viewer to understand, experience, and sense it in his own personal way. The framed Bragi Ingibergsson art are a source of inspiration for many upcoming photographers. His images have won prizes in many photo contests.
