Rob Hefferan Art

Artist Rob Hefferan (Born in 1968) was born in Manchester. He loved art from a tender age and planned to take art as a full time career. He found obstacles and discouragement round every corner but he was determined. The only encouragement he got was from his art teacher who recognized his talent through the dinosaurs that he was drawing. Even though the figures looked childish, his teacher could see a lot of sense and artistic talent in them. Hefferan was a real free spirit from the very beginning and when he decided to do something, nothing could stand on his way. He went ahead and ignored the advice of his elders and decided to pursue art. He joined the university to pursue a degree in illustration. After just a year at the university, he felt that the course was a bit limited in its scope, so he decided to go it alone. The following year saw him putting together a portfolio; an exercise that was really tasking and challenging. Hefferan then set out to find work utilizing his design skills in order to finance his dream of being an artist. Soon, he was able to land to a number of contracts including advertising campaigns and providing illustration work for children’s books. He was able to achieve this because of his exceptional versatility as a designer and illustrator. He never allowed his considerable success to turn him aside from his original aim of becoming a full time artist, and continued to spend much of his spare time painting. He has become so successful that today, framed Rob Hefferan art are found in almost all corners of the world.
