R.W. Hedge Art

R.W. Hedge (1954 - 2010) was a self-taught artist who developed a unique and exciting style that captures the attention of all art lovers. He was born in Tyler, Texas, but made his home in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area. His art are represented in collections nationwide. Painting with a passion for the natural and beautiful wonders of America, his originals portray the pristine wilderness everyone would wish to preserve. Hedge traveled extensively and lived in other states such as Colorado and Arizona from which he gained inspiration and knowledge for his works. Hedge painted things the way they looked when he’s actually there. Anything he could see would be in the painting. Though Hedge appreciated all mediums, he devoted his talent to painting originals in oils, what he referred to as "real paintings." Hedge has several pieces of artwork to his name and his art has been widely sold to a number of individuals, companies and institutions. As a small child he spent serious time with crayons, markers, and pencils. At age 15, his father bought him some canvas and oil paints for his birthday – that’s what sparked his interest in art. His art has been to many exhibitions and can be found in many collections all over the world. Because of the high demand for his creative pieces, several galleries stock ready to mount framed R.W.
