Markus Haub is a German and moved to Spain after his studies at a design school in Pforzheim. His first job was as designer for Volkswagen in Sitges. And in the year 2000 he got an offer from Renault, who just opened a Design studio in Barcelona. Haub also had the opportunity to work in Korea and for 2 years in Paris. He now lives in Barcelona. Haub has always lived in certain stages in his life and never planned his whole life in advance. He remembers that one of the happiest days for him was when he was accepted at the design School of Pforzheim University to study car design. He was happy because he was one of the lucky 10. The college only took a few students each semester. Finally he could study and do what he always wanted to do - to draw cars! During those years he never had any other ambitions and he thought that he would maybe do that his whole life. By then he’s not sure whether what he was doing was what he would do for the rest of his life. After many years as car designer he felt that he had more interests and wanted to do different things as well. So he started painting, and after more than a decade, he needed more in dependency and he left his job at Renault and started freelancing and also working as an artist. He produces high quality work, mainly as framed Markus Haub art.
