Karen Hale lives in the foothills of California on a 5 acres piece of land with her husband. She is an enthusiastic gardener and her land is filled with lively flower beds, sculptures, and paths. Her sense of design and color are evident even in her gardens. Her paintings are spontaneous but exude beauty and design. Her father was a commercial artist and he’s the one who taught her art skills at an early age of 11. He also taught her the use of power tools by the time she was 11 years old. She uses the basic elements of texture, design, and color, to create an opulent and vibrant canvas which both stimulates and pleases the lovers of art. She has worked in many art forms over the years, and therefore has the comprehension of how a variety of materials work together to produce a harmonious piece. She has been a professional artist for over 45 years. All of these experiences have culminated in the incredibly sophisticated and rich mixed media abstract pieces of art that she produces today. Framed Karen Hale art can be found all over the world in private and corporate collections and commercial enterprises. Currently, the artist able to look anywhere around her and see texture, form, and line, and to transfer what she sees plus the ideas to a canvas. Her abstract art add a sophisticated and luxurious impact to any room in which they hang. Karen has tried her hand in many professions, but has always done art on the side.
