Gregory Gorham now resides in the Pacific Northwest though he’s a northern Michigan native. His ability to recreate the natural beauty that surrounds him comes as no surprise because he’s always loved art since his childhood. Whether he narrows in on still lifes or paints lavish countryside, his graceful style perfectly captures his natural surroundings. He graduated with a B.A. in Industrial Design and Graphic Arts with honors from the University of Michigan. After his graduation, he landed a job with Ford Motor Company, where he worked as a designer and illustrator. He later left the job to focus on his freelance work. His work adapts to dimensional transformations in a variety of decorative home accessories, including kitchen textiles and ceramic dinnerware. More recently, he has turned his focus to international trends including whimsical French chefs, gourmet foods, Italian signs and wine labels. The artist has also created a delightful interpretation of antique playing cards, vintage soda bottles and travel posters. Gorham’s unique understanding of emerging styles and trends contributes to his successful line of published prints which are availed through Gango Editions. His art is also available as framed Gregory Gorham art which can be found in numerous collections all over the world. Gorham is a versatile artist and this attribute gives him the unique ability to respond to trends, as well as to specific project needs from retailers and manufacturers.
