Janice Gaynor is inspired by the love of color and texture and by nature. Her patterns are adaptable, lending themselves beautifully to gift and home décor. Currently she lives happily in Riverside in Northern California with her husband and their lovely dog named Charlie. Upscale and classic, her complimentary patterns and motifs offer a timeless, lovely quality to any product line. She has participated in several art exhibitions where her art has been warmly received by viewers and critics. This is the motivating factor behind her work. Even though she’s a professional artist, Janice is still open to learning new styles and techniques. That’s why she likes to surround herself with her fellow artists whom she can learn from. Janice began her career as a scientific illustrator for the Riverside County Parks Department and U.C Riverside, Geology Department illustrating flora and fauna. She has been in the art business for many years and the experience she has gained has provided her with a strong background to tell what her clients need and advise them accordingly. She’s therefore able to meet and exceed her clients’ expectations. Janice art is in several collections and galleries around the world, especially the framed Janice Gaynor art. Many collectors like to stock them in large number because they are in great demand. Janice later moved to a remote mountain community in Northern California, where she became an art teacher in the community's one room school house. She taught K - 8th grades. She’s become one of the most sought after artists in California and beyond.
