Susan Friedman is a fine art artist who believes that every artist must express their inner beings by giving voice to the things that inspire them and doing so creatively. Over the years, she's enhanced her artistic skills and used platinum and palladium printing techniques to create amazing floral series that have demonstrated an imagery that won't fade away. Susan studied at the University of Buffalo from where she earned BA in Literature before proceeding to San Francisco Art Institute, earning Masters of Fine Art in Film and Photography. Her works have found their way into galleries and have even been presented in documentary form. Friedman has a Grammy Award to her name for his documentary that covered MC Hammer and Rap Culture in Oakland, California. She also has a National Endowment for the Arts Grant for her “Ki ho alu, That’s Slack Key Guitar” documentary. She has a film dubbed “What’s Up in the Universe,” whose production was funded by the National Science Foundation and is currently on PBS.
Places where Susan’s art have been collected include the Museum of Modern Art in New York and Smithsonian Institute. Moreover, her art have also been exhibited in different shows and galleries in the U.S. and Europe. They sell globally through diverse channels and are sold through different finishing options.
