Fredrik Norrsell was born and raised in Sweden. He’s a wilderness guide and an outdoor educator. He’s frequently out on some adventurous expedition in a far-flung corner of the world. Believe it or not, he says some places still exist in the world that has neither wireless internet nor cell phone coverage. Time being connected to nature is more important to him than a connection to the internet. That’s why he has participated in worldwide expeditions to the remotest areas of the world. His art has been published by Utemagasinet, Camera Natura, Villmarksliv, BioFoto, Alaska Conservation Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, as well as publications by Crossing Latitudes and the National Outdoor Leadership School. From the temperate rainforest of Patagonia to the great glaciers of Alaska, he captures images of the world’s wildest places. Everywhere he goes, including right at his home, he strives to capture the diversity and beauty of the natural world. His work has a strong, worldwide appearance and appeal that satisfies both the collectors as well as the critical expert who seeks a simple aesthetic pleasure. Norrsell enjoys the rural areas and rocky coast line which seem to be near to each other. He loves all the nooks and crannies that are rarely noticed by passersby, beautiful old stone walls, lone trees, or a river winding through the woodland. Framed Fredrik Norrsell art adorn the walls of many prestigious clients around the world. Norrsell has managed to draw a huge following of fans from all corners of the world and he has become a much sought after photographer.
