Fab Funky produces intriguing, vibrant images set on a backdrop of magical Celtic legends, wild Scottish folk tales, or deliciously out-of-date English dictionaries and journals. Every print brings the eccentric side of 19th century Britain into clients’ homes. Each and every print is unique and is hand-designed and printed onto the original page. Fab Funky Prints feature artworks by Kelly Stevens, a reputable artist living by the sea on the south coast of England. Kelly's imaginative art is designed to bring a little whimsy and smiles into her clients’ life. Kelly is a great lover of animals and lives in a house full of dogs, which is reflected in her work. Kelly says she’s had the privilege of living with many animals during her lifetime and has learned to appreciate all of their funny little quirks and unique personalities, and it's this that inspires her artwork. She is also a great lover of books, especially reference books, and so sometimes she ends up reading the pages she’s supposed to be printing on. All her artworks are finished digitally. Some are one 100 percent digitally painted. Her art mainly focuses on animals. She takes the human characteristics in the animals and exaggerates them. Sometimes she likes to give them some elegance, but other times it takes the direction of a funny image. Some of her images start as watercolors and some as acrylics. Framed Fab Funky art are found in many art galleries and institutions all over the world.
