Judith Durr is a nationally recognized Native American artist who feels honored to be associated with shows and museums which reflect the fine workmanship and quality of the top Native American artist in the nation. Her masterpieces are featured in private and corporate art collections around the world and are collected by prominent museums. Each March Judith’s work is feted at the Cowgirl Up show at the Desert Caballeros Museum in Wickenburg, Arizona and at the national women’s fine art show. As a staunch Member of the Pearce Museum in Corsicana, she participates in “A New Look at the West,” their annual show. She also participates in Native American Shows: the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts, Santa Fe, Prescott Indian Market at Sharlot Hall Museum, Prescott, the Heard Museum Indian Market, Phoenix, and the Litchfield Park Native American Fine Art Festival. Her art hangs in Mexico City at the Museum of History and Anthropology. Her oil paintings reflect her Cherokee/Choctaw heritage. In her paintings, she preserves the legacy of the First People’s artifacts. She captures the emotions of the viewers with her attention to detail creating an illusion in which the viewers can “feel” the bead-work or the fabric of the rugs. She’s selected to demonstrate her painting technique during invitationals and shows. Framed Judith Durr art are collected by prominent museums and are featured in private and corporate art collections around the world. Her pieces of artwork are also available in other finishing options. Judith has been featured in Western Art Collector, Western Art & Architecture, Art of the West and Southwest Art, and Arizona Art Collector. Judith studied at the Scottsdale Art School with Jim Daly, a notable portrait artist.
