Mary Dulon is an artist who was born in Poland. It was clear from a young age that she was a gifted child. She studied at the High School of Fine Arts in Bielsko-Biala before attending the prestigious Polish Academy of Fine Arts. Mary’s love of art made her replicate the beauty of Mother Nature as reflected by her Polish neighborhoods. Things would however take a different turn when she took a holiday trip to California, an experience that inspired her to create art that's influenced by the Californian vistas and a host of other beauties. That experience was the beginning of a definitive brushwork and color use that has influenced her work to this day. Although Mary had inherent talent in art, her works were strengthened by her close interaction with Eugeniusz Markowski and Henry Stazewski, two renowned artists who became integral part of her early artistic development.
Mary was also attracted to the works of William de Kooning, an American artist. Over the years, she's developed her art to reflect a mastery of color movement and brushstrokes that has pushed many to liken her mastery with that of Pissaro and Van Gogh. She explains that hers is to express life's simplicity through the use of oil as her primary medium, canvas as her support base, and a traditional technique to capture her subjects the best way she can. Even though she mainly captures landscapes, Mary also creates figurative art and embraces a host of other subjects. Her art can be found in galleries across the U.S., her home country, and several other places. Framed Mary Dulon art too are availed through most of these outlets.
