Katie Doucette Art

Katie Doucette is an artist from Michigan in a small, waterfront town of Saugatuck. Katie has always had a passion to create things. She took art classes throughout school. As a child, she spent many hours making funny cartoon characters, creating holiday art for windows front porches, and designing greeting cards for family and friends. Together with her mother, they opened a handmade gift shop in 2011. That’s when she made the decision to make a career out of my artwork. Since then, she has been producing a series of art that have stunned many of her viewers. Katie’s client base is always expanding and she now serves clients internationally. Her art is in great demand, more so the framed Katie Doucette art which many buyers prefer because of the attractiveness and durability. She works from her studio at her home in Saugatuck, where she lives with her husband and two lovely children. Her art has been to many exhibitions and shows and have been the center of attraction wherever they are presented. Her art is inspired by the people around her and by her environment. She’s also inspired by the many professional artists she has interacted with, and some that she’s never met but has had access to their pieces of art. Katie is open to learning and to criticism; that’s why she likes to surround herself with fellow artists from whom she learns a lot. She produces her art in a variety of sizes to ensure that the needs of her clients are adequately net.
