Cherie Roe Dirksen Art

Cherie Roe Dirksen had Private Art Lessons with Veronica Vincent. From 1991 – 192, she attended High School Fish Hoek. She later joined Frank Joubert Art Centre in Newlands where she studied Sculpture and Ceramic. In 1998, she graduated from the Sheffield School of Interior Design in New York. Today, she’s a self-empowerment columnist/author as well as a multi-media artist. She combines her love of art with her passion to write and help others to find their creative strip. Cherie is also a bass guitarist, painter, composer and designer. She runs her own blog and site where she has a readership of more than ten thousand people. She originally came from Cape Town - the tip of Africa. She was schooled and grew up in Fish Hoek, a drowsy little town on the Cape Point route. Her art is a mirror of her hunger for symbology, bright color, passion and life— whatever stimulates her to unleash a vision onto canvas with whatever medium feels right. She’s currently working with the South African band, Templeton as the bass guitarist. After a 3-year escapade to the English countryside, she re-ignited her love for art in 2002 and started to paint and sell her work online. This is a new cyber adventure that later proved to be the most incredible career move of her life. Her art is also available as ready to hang framed Cherie Roe Dirksen art. In 2005, she returned to her homeland and started painting and selling art online full-time.
