Checo Diego (Born 1972) is an American artist who was born to an artist father. He creates art that's semi-abstract and is characterized with geometric shapes. Diego was born in Mesa, Arizona, a place that he says affords him a sense of limbo. His art isn't just about expressing his subjects. It's also about injecting abstractness that provides viewers with some room for own interpretation. His use of color and brushstrokes enables him to make reference to time through his artwork, something not many artists are good at. Diego’s kind of artwork is one that carries the viewers to a peculiarly defined place that's defined by movement and structures. Instead of following a specific style and applying it without bringing in his own flavor, Diego prefers to create his own brand of artwork that's defined by three aspects, namely, form, dimension, and color. He creates art that reflects the intersection between different relationships in his own life and that of others. That means capturing a given time period and structures that define that time. Diego was a keen observer of his father's art, something that made it possible for him to understand specific ideas about art. Still, he looked at his father's work as representing "ignorance of art," always creating something that many wouldn't expect or out of the most unlikely things. Diego’s art remain powerful pieces that are sold through reputable art outlets, with Checo Diego framed art also available for those who want to purchase ready art for their homes, offices, or any other locations they deem fit.
