Joan currently exhibits in Los Angeles, New York City, Lake Tahoe, Palm Desert, and San Francisco as well as internationally. Despite the style she decided to use, each and every painting by Joan pleasantly evokes a timeless sense of joy of life and élan. Her abstract process includes using floor work and cardboard and her more refined floral pieces include layers of graphite and charcoal drawing mixed with glazes of paint that are very colorful.
