Her face is full of curiosity as she looks down, and a slim golden halo surrounds the top of her head signifying her holiness. In a similar fashion, “Study of Christ for Last Supper (detail)” brings the viewer close into the details of Leonardo’s perspective of Jesus’ face, which is full of emotion as he prepares for the crucifixion.
