Framed Da Vinci prints
Some of Leonardo Da Vinci’s most famous works of art were his stunning and vivid Renaissance paintings. His subjects ranged from portraits of religious figures and important Biblical scenes to portraits of the upper class. Framed Da Vinci paintings artwork are a testament to Leonardo’s abilities as an artist.
Framed Da Vinci paintings art depict Leonardo’s take on some of the most important religious scenes from the Bible that have become classic and treasured works of art. The “Last Supper” by Leonardo Da Vinci was originally a fresco painting. Depicting one of the Jesus’ last interactions with his disciples before his crucifixion, the Son of God himself sits in the middle of a long table, surrounded by his twelve disciples on either side.
Framed Da Vinci paintings artwork features portraits of prominent persons from among Leonardo’s time. “Portrait of a Lady from the Court of Milan” is a portrait painting of a young woman, seated in a wooden pew. She wears a red dress, and her hair is pulled back from her face. Her eyes are searching beyond the portrait, looking towards something or someone unknown.
Leonardo’s “Virgin and Child with St. Anne, c. 1510” depicts the Madonna herself as she plays with a young Jesus, along side St. Anne in the beautiful countryside, the mountains depicted in the background. “Madonna Benois, c. 1478” is another rendition of the Virgin Mary seated with the baby Jesus in her lap as he inquisitively inspects the fingers on her hand.
