Curt Crain gets his inspiration from the world around her, the elegance and attractiveness of everyday objects and events. Starting from a young age, he had a strong passion for painting and drawing. He wanted to be a professional artist and that’s what he became after several years of hard work. He went ahead to study fine art at Cardinal Stritch and UWM. He’s open to learning and continues to learn from “everything and everyone.” Crain’s paintings hang in commercial and private locations across the country. He invests himself in each scene, each canvas and each brushstroke. He currently lives in Gills Rock and Whitefish Bay, and his paintings hang in commercial and private locations across the country. He paints mostly in the impressionistic style and his artwork shows the influence of the American and European artists of the late 1840’s and has had a great impact on him. Crain paints almost anything; he just loves moving paint around. He enjoys working fast and thick, and deals with a variety of different subjects. Once he started working professionally, he began to receive commissions and freelance work from those who loved his art. He has become very famous and has a wide base of clients that he serves diligently. He is much appreciated for his keenness to detail that made his paintings look very real.
