Artist Italo Corrado (Born 1973) was born in Paderno Dugnano. He loved art since his childhood and spent much of his time admiring the works of other professional artist. He knew that at one point in time, he would be a professional artist. Corrado was encouraged and influence by the many artists that he interacted with. Today he’s a conceptual artist after he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera. Corrado’s paintings depict the mirror of an upper-class society and, at the same time, the upsetting reality of the suburbs. Corrado paints with a lot of energy addressing the issues that are common within and around the cities. In fact, while Corrado believes that the city throbs and lives with vitality, one must admit that the life in the city is usually integrated with that of the surrounding society and even seems to absorb the harsh reality of its ethnic groups, and then explodes in all its facets. The artist has always been fascinated by the opposite ends that characterize the city. Some times greeting you with peace and serenity, making you grow positively; and at some other times rejecting you, dragging you, and seriously making you sink into the vortex of vice and idleness of hell. Corrado chose the theme of the city in order to question the identity of man before his fate. He investigates the perceptual dynamics in abstract and naturalistic key, competing with large multi-ethnic spaces. His art has become very popular; that’s why in many collections you will find framed Italo Corrado art that are ready to hang with all the accessories.
