Corey Ford/Stocktrek Images are created by Corey Ford who’s a Freelance Illustrator and a Fine & Digital Artist. Ford has been an artist his entire life. he remembers when he was a small child drawing horses, which was his favorite subject at that time and still is to this day. He’s mostly self-taught. He only had one year of professional art training at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. He also took a watercolor class at Oakland County Community College. Other than that he’s learned his art by trial and error. To him, learning art is an on-going endeavor and he’s always learning new ways to get his ideas across to his viewing audience. Ford has sold 58 fine art paintings. His earlier paintings are signed with just his first name "Corey" with no last name. Right now he’s concentrating on his digital art paintings which are gaining respect in the eyes of the public. The viewers are more and more willing to buy his digital archival prints, digital art prints or digital painting canvases especially since his name has been getting around the Internet. The programs he uses to make digital art include Ultra Fractal, Strategen, World Machine, Universe Plugins, Flaming Pear Plugins, Photoshop, Terragen, Apophysis, among others. He also continues working in oil painting. He loves the Internet because he can get his paintings in front of people all over the world.
