M. Ellen Cocose Art

M. Ellen Cocose loved art since her childhood. She began painting and drawing at the age of 9 and later studied art at piano for 6 years at the Interlochen Center for the Arts. Upon graduation, she proceeded to a college in Florence Italy and to the internationally renowned University of Illinois to further her studies. Today Hellen is counted among the best artists in the world. Her work is luminous and is suffused with the mysteries ever changing quality of light. Ellen’s work is an exploration of refraction, reflection, diffusion and suspension, conveyed with richness and depth, and unique ambiguity. She feels that being an artist is the best thing she could dream of. Currently, her works are sold in large numbers, especially the framed M. Ellen Cocose art. Her art can be described as contemplative and dynamic. It was at the University of Illinois that she studied Medical Illustration, and she later joined Columbia College in Chicago from where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Her academic background has combined with her passion to enable her produce stunning and inspiring pieces of art. Ellen’s inspiration comes a lifetime of travel. Her curiosity in other cultures and arts has taken her around the world to more than twenty five countries in Asia, Europe, Africa and South America. Her work is represented in galleries nationwide and has been exhibited in group and solo shows. They can be found in private and corporate collections worldwide, including San Francisco, Beverly Hills, Chicago, New York City, Boston, Calgary, Paris, London, and Seoul.
