Tan Chun’s love for art began when he was very young. He was born in Canton, China. He’s accomplished in a wide array of media and is constantly challenging his mastery of printmaking, oil and watercolor. Many subjects inspire this widely traveled artist. The most important among them is an abiding veneration for the beauty and peace of the world of nature that is reflected in his painting. He loves art and while painting, he doesn’t feel like he is working; it’s something that comes out naturally. His pieces of artwork are much sought after by both private and corporate collectors because they are available in a variety of finishing options including framed Tan Chun art which come ready to hang. Chun began his art studies in China and when he went to America in 1974 he continued with his studies. He completed his studies at the Art Student's League in New York. His delicate and intricate work is a combination of contemporary painting techniques and the essential qualities of traditional realism. The artist paints mainly from observation and uses his art as a means of expressing his feelings to his viewers. He has explored both the Chinese and American arts and this has broadened his horizon and has also influenced his personal philosophy. Whether painting landscape, floral, seascape, or still life there’s always an unparalleled admiration for the tranquility of the world of nature that is reflected in all of his artwork. His paintings hang in numerous corporate, gallery and personal collections all over the world.
