Anthony Christou is a freelance artist based in Australia. He specializes in concept art, illustration, and writing. He started his career as a graphic designer but in 2008 he made a shift to illustrative and conceptual arts. For almost a decade he has been working freelance from his studio “A Christou Illustration and Concept Art.” In 2008 he made the shift to illustrative and conceptual arts after working for some time as a graphic designer. Christou has a great love for video games, films, fine art and graphic novels. He also loves to create illustration and concept art for just about any industry and loves to create and paint fantasy and science fiction illustration, concept art and paintings for his own expression and his clients. Christou also loves the challenge of working with new and interesting projects. He has worked for a variety of clients both nationally and internationally in different projects. These include working with, film studios, video game studios, publishers, authors, Animation Studios and advertising agencies. Recently, he was awarded for his environment concepts and illustrations by The Gnomon Workshop and Conceptart.org. He has a studio called Christou Design Pty Ltd that specializes in the development of his own intellectual property, stories and illustrations.
