Jenni Christensen (Born 1949) was born in Utah and raised in Idaho where she still works and she’s active in to date. She develops her paintings thoughtfully by design ensuring that she brings together all the elements of art to achieve harmony and perfect balance in her compositions. Jenni enjoys the challenge of building a composition that’s two-dimensional but looks realistic.  She’s known for her floral-botanical, etching-aquatint. She was born in Salt Lake City Utah and grew up in Hawaii eventually moving to Idaho where she lived in a ranch. Her work has been brought into countless homes, businesses, and is exhibited the world over. This is more so for the framed Jenni Christensen art. Her works have been exhibited in juried and solo exhibitions, and have received numerous awards. She is so obsessed with the desire to turn her talent into works of art and to share her vision of her subjects with others. She’s a graduate of Brigham Young University from where she received her Master of Fine Arts degree in print making in 1977. After her graduation, Jenni moved to Boston with her husband where she worked at the Experimental Etching Studio. Jenni is very keen to detail; she strives to paint the essence of light that washes over and surrounds her subjects. From Boston, she spent a year in Portland where she worked at the Oregon School of Arts and Crafts. The artist is very dedicated to her work and works with both traditional and modern methods of painting.
