Artist Lisa Choate loved art from a very young age. She could be seen drawing, sketching and painting using any material she could lay her hands on and on any surface that was available. She knew from that early age that at one point in time she would become a professional artist. She was strongly influenced by the works of other leading artist in Dallas Texas which she admired. Lisa studied at Plano Senior High School from 1978 to 1980. After completing her high school she joined Baylor University from where she graduated with Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees. She specialized in Fashion Merchandizing, Marketing and Art. While at the university she got involved in many activities including membership of Delta Gamma sorority, Student Government, Leadership and Big Brother Big Sister, where she was the director. She also became Permanent Student Body Secretary. Today, Lisa is a professional artist who is being sought after by many clients. She has also developed other skills including Project Management, Six Sigma Champion, Relationship Management, and Business Relationships. She’s also good at Business Development, Sales Management, Marketing Strategy, Strategic Planning, Negotiation, Account Management, Brand Development, Product Design and Development, Management of Key Accounts, and Managing Associates. Lisa has exhibited in several solo and group shows and has featured in many exhibitions in museums and galleries in the United States. This has made her art to be very popular particularly ready to hang framed Lisa Choate art. From May 1990 to March 1997, Lisa worked as volunteer motivator, special events organizer, event planner, and project manager.
