Robert Charon Art

Robert Charon (Born 1958) was born and raised in the metro Phoenix area of Arizona. His work can be found in private and corporate collections around the world. They can also be seen in galleries on both the east and west coast of the United States. He began to cultivate his creative mind when he was very young. In fact, he held his first private show at a local private library when he was only 12 years old. When he reached high school, he developed a love of watercolors. As he painted he also continued to pursue his education through art scholarships to colleges in Utah and Arizona. In his undergraduate years during a break, he spent 2 years in Taiwan where he acquired an ardent affection for oriental art and tradition. His experiences in Taiwan inspire his work. His art also shows the influence of the eastern culture. He’s passionate about depicting his subject matter in brilliant subtlety of everyday life. For Charon, the wonder of the world itself and the splendor of nature leaves a notion that long outlast any one artistic movement. Charon’s art does not rely on specific periods or movements in art history. He has his own unique style. This uniqueness has made framed Robert Charon art to have the ability to illuminate and bring to life any room in which they are hanged. His art comprises of connected imagery.
