Wendy Caro is a photography artist who seeks to tell the stories of horses, birds, and the environment where they live. According to her, these creatures are great storytellers and that what one needs is to listen to their tales. Wendy has spent a lot of her time over the years observing these creatures, looking at their body languages, mannerisms, their subtle voices, and how they behave in their unique habitats. She takes her time to visit them in their living environments and waits for the perfect moment to listen to their voices, actions, and migrations then capturing such perfect moments through art. Wendy started getting involved in photography in 1972 before she proceeded to school for formal photography training. She went to Boston University where she acquired a BS in Film. She also studied photography at the New York Institute of Photography. For her to master the art of photography, she's received Masters Classes from first class photographers such as Bill Silliker, David Muench, John Cang, Arthur Morris, George Lepp, and Linde Weidhofer. The influence of these artists has made it possible for her to refine her artistic eye and understand top-notch photographic techniques and styles.
Because of her creative works and active involvement in photography related activities, Wendy became a member of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) and the National Association of Photoshop Professions (NAPP). Her images are found in several galleries and are as well displayed in both private and public collections all over the U.S. Many of these galleries avail framed Wendy Caro art that are ready to display.
