Ingrid Blixt is a visual artist working and living in Lansing, Michigan. She lived most of his adult life in US, Michigan, though she was born in Romania where she finished school. Her artistic journey began in Romania and took her to far away lands, which she found to be as amazing as the ones she came from. She rides along four beautiful faces, four beautiful souls; four people she’s so happy she got the chance to meet: her husband and three children. The family lives in Lansing, Michigan, a place Ingrid never thought she would live, with blooms that are the highlight of their spring and by 2 pink flowering crab apple trees. Ingrid likes to make things: she makes improvised looms, crooked benches, art... and she also loves photography - she actually thinks making things help her to remember magical moments. Graphite drawing is her first choice when it comes to art. Otherwise she incorporates in her work unique painting, a variety of mixed media techniques in combination with reclaimed barn wood. Ingrid I learnt to appreciate digital illustration because of its versatile. He also appreciates the metal leaf because of its magical element of light. Framed Ingrid Blixt art is the most popular but she produces her art in a variety of finishing options including a variety of sizes. Christian philosophy and Byzantine art are the main influences in her work, but she admits that Pintrest is pretty cool too. Ingrid holds a MFA from the University of Art and Design, Romania.
