Christopher Bliss Art

Christopher Bliss is a native New Yorker. He finds inspiration in the invigorating and challenging lifestyles of cities and in urban skylines. Bliss has always been drawn to the many facets of cosmopolitan life. He studied Music in Vienna Australia where he received his Bachelor’s degree at Manhattan School of Music in New York. He later proceeded to USC in Los Angeles where he received his Master’s degree. Though he is active in the field of photography, he began his career as a concert pianist. Bliss he has been traveling to New York several times each year and photographing the city as part of his ongoing project aimed at capturing the evolving culture and architecture of the city. He has been doing this since 1988. He recently completed work on his second photography book titled Iconic New York. The book is on New York City and features color and black-and-white photography. The forward of the book is written by Ed Koch, the former New York mayor. Bliss’ work is represented by several galleries and is part of many corporate and private collections throughout Europe, the Unites States, and Canada. Several of his pieces are included in the permanent collection of the Museum of the City of New York. He is in high demand both for his fine art and for his work as a commercial photographer serving clients throughout the United States. Bliss has been a Festival of Arts exhibitor for more than 20 years. Framed Christopher Bliss art is in great demand throughout the world.
