Erin Ashley is an artist who’s known internationally. She’s lived in Florida, New York, and Los Angeles for most of her life. As a self-trained painter, she has applied her diverse experiences and background to the contemporary arts. Her art has found its way into many leading publications among them are San Francisco Chronicle 2013, American Artist, Better Homes and Gardens, Professional Artist magazine, Sky Mall magazine, Art.com Fall magazine, Studios magazine, Color Made Easy magazine, American Airlines, etc. Erin gets her inspiration from things that most often overlooked by many people, including artists. She loves the raw beauty that creates over time like rusted metals, trains, or chipped paint on an old weathered building. Bringing out the old with the new in her work enduring a fusion of both has become the hallmark of this rising artist. She likes the idea of each painting being a journey that ends at a beautiful destination. Her paintings are made with lots of textures and color that brings out the old with the new. Erin’s art, especially the framed Erin Ashley art, has appeared in many galleries in Italy, the United States, and solo exhibitions. She begins her work without any preconceived ideas at all about what the finished work would look like. She says that art has the power to make one see things in a new light. She has received commission from many fortune 500 companies such as Blick Art Corporate headquarters Chicago, Time Warner editing studios, Cartoon Network and many other prestigious designers and companies worldwide.
