Framed Gingko Art
Ginko is a plant with no flowers, which has its origins from China and has first appeared 250 million years ago. Nowadays, the only known species that has survived is Ginko Biloba and all the other species had become extinct.
Ginko is very high tree that usually grows to height of 20 to 35 meters, but in some parts of China, it could grow to 50 meters. This impressive plant with cornered crown, could live up to 2500 years. Although it is originally cultivated in China, it could be raised in all well-watered and well-drained parts. The most interesting thing about this tree is surely its leaves, because of their appearance that is similar by looks to a specific kind of fern. Trees are also distinctive by orange seeds that appear in autumn. Also, the fruit starts to grow after 15 years of the tree’s age.
This herb with name which means white or silver fruit, found its use in cooking and medicine. Food made of Ginko nuts is one of the most frequently served at celebrations as weddings or New Years. As a healing remedy, it is mostly used for treating cognitive problems.
A lot of artists used Ginko leaves for artwork, because of its authentic and impressive looks. Many artists found inspiration in this ancient plant that has been here almost from the beginning of time. If you want to have a representation of this amazing and historic herb, having a framed Ginko art print in your home, is the best decoration for your living space.
