Framed Bamboo Art
Framed bamboo art has become quite popular and people are seeing more of it. The Japanese also believe that bamboo will bring good luck so, having a picture with it couldn’t hurt. Not only has the plant itself become art alone it also is serving as backdrops with various subject matters. The oriental look is quite popular in the field of bamboo art.
Utagawa Hiroshige has given the world some great oriental themed art with his framed art pieces. Some of his pieces include Bird and Bamboo featuring single bird sitting on a branch in front of a piece of bamboo. Maureen Love used a forest of bamboo to create a wonderful piece titled Bamboo Ballet. Beverly Crawford is another artist that gives bamboo a place in the art world with pieces like Bamboo Forest.
Suzanna Wilkens and Nannette Oleson take framed bamboo paintings in a different direction with splashes of color that are not normally seen in a field or forest of bamboo. When shooting bamboo with a camera it is amazing how the sun can be captured glowing through the stalks and making the colors jump out from the paper.
Franz Heigl and Cheryl Martin both artists that have created some creative and simple bamboo prints in black and white. There are many computer generated pieces of bamboo art available in the art market that are in panoramic view to give the art lover more versatile decorating ideas. Bamboo art has opened a lot of doors that haven’t always been thought of by decorators.
