Framed Nympheas

Nympheas, or Water lilies, is a series of many paintings by a famous French painter Claude Monet. These flowers represent the painter’s garden at Giverny and were the main theme for artistic creation in Monet’s last three decades of life. Interesting thing is that the framed nympheas art series were very important to Monet and that he painted many of them while suffering from cataract and had a bad vision because of it. His paintings influenced the state of France to create a pair of large oval rooms in a Parisian l’Orangerie museum, in which Monet could paint the nympheas murals. Also, a few months after his death, an exhibition was made that collected the images of water lilies from all around the world and they were represented in that same museum that Monet wall-painted.
