Framed Robot Art

Robotics is the branch of technology responsible for designing and producing these electromechanical machines, which are routinely used today. Framed Robot Art doesn’t focus on the industrial versions, which are simple and unassuming, despite their tremendous usefulness, but instead highlights the appeal of bio inspired robots. The term was coined by Karel Capek almost one century ago and since then technology made giant leaps forward and robots became increasingly effective and widespread.

Robots are also a central topic in many science fiction movies, with some of them being benevolent creatures, while others try to eradicate humankind. One can find Framed Robot Art dedicated to these Hollywood blockbusters, such as I Robot which also tackle more sensitive issues and even dwell briefly on philosophical concepts. The fictionalized versions of robots are the ones that capture the imagination of people, but the most of the mechanical devices used on an industrial scale can be safely included in this category. They are generally beneficial, although some worry about robots leading to unemployment.
